Say goodbye to Alex Owah.

The biggest name on the list junior Alexander Owah, a star running back on the football team. Police talked to Owah more than once during this investigation.

According to the affidavit, on January 23, 2008, Owah admitted to being part of an armed robbery which included other Harrisonburg High School students Ronnell Brandon and Stedman Jones. Owah said he only helped plan the robbery….

Owah verbally committed to UVA in December.

Oh, he only planned the armed robbery. That should go over well with Al Groh. Seriously, I know I’m going to sounds like an old man, but what the hell is wrong with kids these days? College pranks and high school hi-jinx is one thing, but once the blueprint calls for weapons we’re entering thug life. It just boggles my mind that someone would throw away free tuition to their favorite college and personal development from one of the best player developing coaching staffs in the country like this.

The word on the street is that Caleb Porzel decommitted* (sub. req.) because his family became uncomfortable about the recent spate of dismissals at Virginia. Well, this Owah situation won’t help matters much.
