The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Golden Eagles blog says that Marquette is coming down to scrimmage UVa this fall. The Nov. 1 scrimmage takes the place of an exhibition game and is closed to the public. Virginia is expected to travel to Marquette next season to return the scrimmage favor. This is not a new step for UVa, who played West Virginia in a scrimmage (last season I think) under Dave Leitao.
