According to this news release, senior forward Jamil Tucker has been dismissed from the UVa men’s basketball team.

“We expect our student-athletes to perform to certain standards academically and Jamil has not met those standards,” Virginia coach Tony Bennett said in the release. “We wish him well and will provide assistance where we can, but he is no longer a member of our team.”

The Hoos are back in action against Hampton on Wednesday night.
