Confirmed Visitors For The N.C. State Game
October 23rd, 2011 by Chris HorneIn terms of 2012 commits, Fork Union (VA) OL/DL Ryan Doull and Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA) P Nick Conte were among those in attendance for Virginia’s ACC match-up against N.C. State. Conte has accepted a preferred walk-on spot with the Hoos, while Doull will be on scholarship next season.
In terms of those uncommitted visitors, TheSabre.com confirmed the following to be in attendance: Wylie (TX) OL Kyle Fuller (2012 class), Midway (Newton Grove, N.C.) TE Clark Eyers (2012), Warhill (Williamsburg, VA) OL Parker Osterloh (2013) and Thomas Dale (Chester, VA) OL Zack Rhodes (2013).
Of the uncommitted players mentioned, only Fuller has an offer at this point. The 6’5″, 265-pound senior was in Charlottesville on an unofficial visit. We hope to have more on him and his experience this coming week.
On the basketball front, St. Joseph’s Prep (Philadelphia, PA) junior guard Steve Vasturia was seen being shown around by Virginia head coach Tony Bennett and assistant coach Ron Sanchez. The 6’4″, 185-pound prospect is rated a 3-star recruit by ESPN.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com.
