Justin Anderson Named MD Gatorade POY

University of Virginia-bound Justin Anderson has been named the 2012 Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Maryland.  He is averaging 18 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.4 steals per contest for a 20-3 Montrose Christian (Rockville, MD) squad this season.  In the classroom, he is carrying a 3.11 GPA.

The 6’7″, 220-pound senior guard/forward will be in action one week from today, when the Mustangs takes the court against Ravenscroft (Raleigh, N.C.) in the first round of the 2012 ESPN National High School Invitational.  All four first round games will be televised by ESPNU, and the action starts at 2 p.m.
